 We announce the opening of Disha Pathology Services a fully
automated and computerized pathology laboratory with the latest
and most modern equipment available today.
We are offering our services in biochemistry, haematology,
microbiology, clinical pathology, histopathology and various
profiles for all diseases among other the test.
The laboratory timings at present are from 8am to 6pm. Sample
collection can be arranged from your place with a prior appointment.
Reports can be made available by fax or email if so desired.

The laboratory is under the charge of Dr Abha Shroff who has
trained in Pathology and Bacteriology. She has gathered her
experience over the past ten years at Tata Memorial Hospital,
Bhatia Hospital and the Breach Candy Hospital. She has also
trained in PCR techniques at the Duke University, Durham,
USA and the Washington University, St Louis, USA. Polymerase
chain reaction more popularly referred to as PCR is soon going
to become the last say in many diagnostic assays. Disha Pathology
Services will soon introduce PCR techniques for a large number
of infectious diseases and oncology. |

Disha Pathology Services is situated on the second floor of
Shroff Eye Hospital, a premier institute for comprehensive
eye care. Shroff Eye Hospital is centrally located on SV Road
in Bandra (W) next to the famous Bandra Talkies. |

Ocular pathology is another specialty, which is offered only
by Disha Pathology Services in Mumbai today. A large number
of ocular diseases can be investigated and diagnosed here. |

Disha Pathlogy Services has a collection center on Marine
Drive, Mumbai on the first floor of Shroff Eye Clinic, Gobind
Mahal, Marine Drive, an ISO 9002 certified eye clinic, which
is associated with eye care since the past 35 years. Samples
submitted here with be analyzed at the laboratory in Bandra
and reports will be made available at Marine Drive on the
same day. |
