| ‘Bandra Talkies’ Bus Stop renamed ‘Bandra Talkies/ Shroff Eye Hospital’ for benefit of patients
The changes are in response to customer requests and will improve service reliability. The new name ‘Bandra Talkies/ Shroff Eye Hospital’ will help patients easily identify the hospital, by also still keeping the advantage of the earlier name. Bus stop signs will identify the service and the stops.
The inauguration was done by Mr Sanjay Potnis, Chairman B.E.S. and T Committee, Municipal Councillor. “I am extremely pleased that B.E.S and T Committee has offered this service in Bandra,” said Padmashree Dr Ashok Shroff, Ophthalmologist and Chairman of Shroff Eye Hospital. “Patient safety is one of the most vital services we provide to our customers, and quality care is our commitment in keeping with the Joint Commission International Standards.
Incidentally, Shroff Eye Hospital is the first and only eye hospital in India to receive the JCI- Joint Commission International accreditation. JCI is the Gold standard in stringent clinical quality standards. JCI is the international arm of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which evaluates quality standards of US hospitals.
